GTE-Rank: Searching for Implicit Temporal Query Results

International audienceTemporal information retrieval has been a topic of great interestin recent years. Despite the efforts that have been conducted sofar, most popular search engines remain underdeveloped when itcomes to explicitly considering the use of temporal informationin their search process. In this paper we present GTE-Rank, anonline searching tool that takes time into account when rankingtime-sensitive query web search results. GTE-Rank is defined asa linear combination of topical and temporal scores to reflect therelevance of any web page both in topical and temporaldimensions. The resulting system can be explored graphicallythrough a search interface made available for research purpose
