: Diagnosis of climate change in Togo trough temperature’s evolution between 1961 and 2010.

International audienceThe climate change diagnosis made by IPCC in September 2013 confirms that since 1901, the temperatures measured on earth’s surface have globally increased. According to the same report, the climatic warming may be more significant in Africa than in therest of the world (IPCC, 2013). Between 1901 and 2012, the increase is about 0,89°C (Jouzel and Debroise, 2014). Thecurrent study uses meteorological data to calculate statistical indexes which show the evolution of temperature in Togobetween 1961 and 2010. The aim is to detect the signs of global warming in order to envisage better adaptation strategies.The results show a thermic increase between 0,3 and 1,6°C ; more important in the plains than in the mountains, since theend of the 70’s
