L’emploi d’adjuvants fluidifiants est courant pour tout béton. Ceci permet d’améliorer les propriétés rhéologiques à l’état frais: la fluidité initiale et son maintien pendant les 2-3 premières heures de la vie d’un béton. La compréhension de ce mécanisme d’action est encore partielle pour les PCP (copolymères greffés).
