Les déchets d’équipements électriques et électroniques (DEEE) tels que les téléviseurs et moniteurs à afficheur à cristaux liquides (LCD), ne cessent de croitre ces dernières années. Ces DEEE renferment de la matière première recyclable de grand intérêt, notamment les cristaux liquides et l’oxyde d’indium-étain (ITO). Parallèlement, Il n’existe actuellement aucun traitement industriel permettant la récupération des cristaux liquides et ITO des écrans LCD usagés dans un but de valorisation.
