Dans un contexte de changement climatique les cultures vont être plus fréquemment soumises à des événements climatiques extrêmes. Continuer le progrès sur le rendement du maïs requiert de considérer de nouvelles méthodes génétiques pour caractériser les avantages comparatifs de génotypes en conditions de sécheresse et de températures élevées.
