Searching for relevent information through MEDLINE via PubMed can be challenging for general practicioners. This study aimed to elaborate a general practice search filter for PubMed to facilitate access to relevent information. Methods : We conducted a search in MEDLINE via PubMed for articles published in 2014 in 8 journals. We manually identified a Gold Standard (GS) set of references relevant to general practice. The GS was used to identify frequently occuring MeSH terms through semantic analysis. Search strategies were developped from selected MeSH terms and internally validated.
