La schizophrénie est une pathologie caractérisée par des symptômes positifs (idées délirantes et hallucinations), des symptômes négatifs (émoussement affectif, alogie, apragmatisme, retrait social) et des symptômes de désorganisation (cognitifs et affectifs). Cette pathologie est également associée à des altérations cognitives, perceptuelles et de la qualité de vie. La physiopathologie de la schizophrénie reste mal connue.
