La thèse porte sur le tourisme interne dans la société algérienne, en focalisant l’attention sur les effets spatiaux. La région étudiée correspond à la bande littorale qui s'étend, dans la partie occidentale de la Kabylie, de part et d'autre de la petite ville d'Azzefoun. Des premières fréquentations touristiques à sa mise en tourisme, bien que nous sommes qu'au début, larégion qui était longtemps restée rurale est aujourd'hui en cours d'urbanisation soudaine et intense, donnant ainsi une nouvelle armature à l'occupation de l’espace, avec de nouvelles formes de production du cadre bâti.
