Ces protéines possèdent des propriétés d'interactions avec leurs partenaires uniques.L'extrêmité C-terminale de la nucléoprotéine du virus de la rougeole, NTAIL, est une IDP. NTAIL interagit avec XD, le domaine C-terminal globulaire de la phosphoprotéine virale, via la box2 qui est un a-MoRE.
