International audienceThe organogenic production of sediments is generally neglegted in the characterisation of beach sediment budgets along coasts of the temperate zone. For this reason, the geomorphological impacts caused by human disturbances on the coastal environment are not fully assessed. This paper presents the results from a study of the biogenic contribution to the sediment supply of four representative sandy foreshore sites located in the western part of Brittany.
