L'intérêt du suivi du métabolisme énergétique cérébral dans la prise en charge des patients victimes d'hémorragie sous-arachnoïdienne anévrismale (aSAH) grave reste actuellement controversé en raison de l'absence de valeurs seuils décisionnelles applicables en pratique. Ce travail avait pour objectif de réévaluer l'intérêt des paramètres biochimiques de trois techniques, la microdialyse intracérébrale (cMD), la mesure de la pression tissulaire cérébrale en oxygène (PbtO2) et le cathéter rétrograde jugulaire, pour prédire l’issue fonctionnelle de ces patients et diagnostiquer la survenue d'un infarctus.
