Introduction: hearing loss is the most frequent sensory processing disorder in children; it’s affects language development significantly. Within the department of Calvados, a health check including a hearing loss screening for 3-4 year-old schooled children is carried out by the maternal and child health service. Methods: we have conducted a survey among the maternal and child health physicians in Calvados in order to be informed of the methods used for the hearing loss screening. Secondarily, we have analyzed and compared the results of the screening test for the school-year 2016-2017. The comparison of the tests has been performed with a CHI-2 test or Fisher-test.
