Background: an increased risk of mortality and severe maternal morbidity has been reported among women migrants, particularly those born in sub-saharan Africa. The mechanisms involved are poorly identified and rarely specifically studied. Objective: to compare maternal and perinatal morbidity between women born in France and migrant women and their mode of delivery. Materials and methods: retrospective, unicentric study carried out in a maternity type III. All women who gave birth in 2008 or 2014 were included. The only two exclusion criteria were a term of delivery inferior to 24 weeks of gestation and twin pregnancies.
