Anthropology of an African company : the example of the Company and poultry meunière Gabon (SMAG)

Cette thèse étudie les modalités de l’hybridation des entreprises au Gabon en s’appuyant sur l’exemple d’une entreprise implantée depuis 1969 à Libreville, la Société Meunière et Avicole du Gabon (SMAG). Les théories de l’hybridation ont porté au départ sur le domaine biologique, et en particulier sur la biologie végétale. Chacun sait que les lois de Mendel sont issues de l’observation du croisement expérimental de plusieurs espèces de haricots. Il convient donc d’abord d’interroger ce concept d’hybridation dans son application aux sciences humaines avant de l’expérimenter à une anthropologie d’une entreprise, celle qui est envisagée dans cette étude. Grâce à cette lecture et à cette analyse, nous pouvons souligner l’importance du double apport, du double échange qui se jouent dans un cadre de travail et de production. L’expérience d’observation montre l’importance de cette adaptation. Deux réalités et deux conceptions de la vie et du travail se rencontrent. La richesse de ces interactions constitue le point central de cette étude. Celui qui nous a semblé le plus nouveau et le plus original.This thesis investigates the methods of hybridization of companies in Gabon, taking as an example a company established in Libreville since 1969, the Miller and Poultry Company of Gabon (SMAG). Hybridization theories were initially focused on the biological field, particularly on plant biology. It's common knowledge that Mendel's laws stem from the observation of the experimental crossing of several species of beans. It is suitable, therefore, to question the concept of hybridization in its application to the humanities before experimenting it in a corporate anthropology, which is envisaged in this study. With this reading and this analysis, we emphasize the importance of the dual contribution, the dual exchange, that are at stake in a working and production environment.
