Peu d'études concernent actuellement l'influence de la spéciation du plomb (polluant métallique toxique, persistant et très présent dans les écosystèmes) sur sa phyto-toxicité. Pourtant, l'absorption des métaux, leur translocation et les mécanismes impliqués dans leur phyto-toxicité peuvent être fortement modifiés par ce paramètre.
