隨著行動網路朝向全IP環境邁進的同時,整合各種種類的網路成為一項日益受到重視的研究議題。在各種異質網路的整合中,交遞是必須用到與處理的一個重要項目。我們所謂的一個行動裝置可以在各種異質網路間交遞的能力,是指這個行動裝置可以在各種異質網路間自由移動時,同時也能夠維持資料傳輸的服務品質在一定水準以上,包含資料傳輸的連續性、可靠性、資料流量穩定性、多工性。為了達到無縫交遞與連續性連線的目標,本論文提出了一個基於TCP/IP且符合端對端原則的網路協定,來處理行動裝置連線狀態改變的問題。藉由符合端對端的原則,則無須中介的代理處理牽涉其中,如此,既可達到較好的效率並同時達到在異質網路間無縫交遞的目的。When we are moving to the next generation All-IP environment, the issue of integrating WWAN and WLAN appears.
