本研究主要比較塔塔加高山地區鐵杉、玉山箭竹及高山芒三個樣區表土0-5cm, 5-10cm 及10-15cm 三層之土壤水分含量、土壤容重、有機質、可交換性鉀、鈣、鎂及有效磷、pH 值 等土壤物理與化學性質有無差異,並供後續土壤動物組成與其相關性之探討。1998 年11 月進 行土壤採樣,帶回實驗室分析。在0-5cm 、5-10cm 、10-15cm 三層表土土壤中之土壤容重、含 水率及有機質和可交換鉀、鈣、鎂及有效磷等,在鐵杉林、玉山箭竹及草原間均有顯著差異; 只有pH 值在上述三樣區三種不同深度的土壤中沒有顯著差異。This study collected soil samples in November of 1998 from three plots (dominated by Tsuga chinensis var. formosana, Yushania niitakayamensis and Miscanthus sinensis, respectively) in Ta-Ta-Chia mountain area to investigate soil moisture, bulk density, pH, organic matter, ex-changeable Ca, K, Mg and available P of three depths (0-5, 5-10 and 10-15 cm).
