Application of fluorescence-labeled oligosaccharides on enzymatic assay of glycosyltransferases

The biosynthesis of non-cellulosic polysaccharides in plant cell walls takes place by the concerted action of many different glycosyltransferases catalyzing the incorporation of monosaccharides from corresponding nucleotide sugars into growing polysaccharide chains.
