The honors accounting students at the University of Mississippi are given the option to participate in an alternative thesis track; we partake in a year-long class junior year in which we are given a case study every other week to complete by the following week. We are also required to participate in accounting case competitions sponsored by Big Four accounting firms, in which we give oral presentations of our business solutions to partners at the firms.
