This report details the design of a model passenger aircraft for the 2018 AIAA Design- Build-Fly competition. The objective was to design a small regional business aircraft capable of carrying both passengers and cargo. As the aerospace industry seeks to improve maintenance procedures and reduce cost, the design also required the incorporation of line-replaceable units, or LRUs, components which can be removed and replaced rapidly on the flight line. The model began as a conceptual design in order to achieve the preliminary layout and proposed functionality of the components.
