The purpose of this report is to outline the origin and migration of radon, how it accumulates indoors, its health consequences, and its geology and significance in Arizona. This report should answer questions about radon that are commonly asked by Arizona residents. It should also be useful to science teachers, as well as realtors and others who are considering the purchase or sale of a home, a building, or land.Documents in the AZGS Document Repository collection are made available by the Arizona Geological Survey (AZGS) and the University Libraries at the University of Arizona.
