International Telemetering Conference Proceedings / October 13-16, 1986 / Riviera Hotel, Las Vegas, NevadaIn this paper we investigate the performance degradation of the NASA Deep Space Network (DSN) telemetry receiving system for two data channels in the presence of cross-modulation interference. It is shown that the sub-carrier waveforms and/or frequencies can be selected to suppress the cross-modulation interference for enhanced deep-space telemetry performance. The application of this study is suggested for a simultaneous telemetry and ranging as well as telecommand and ranging operations.
