A MICROSTRIP ANTENNA FEED FOR A PARABOLOIDAL REFLECTOR WITH SIMULTANEOUS RCP AND LCP POLARIZATION

International Telemetering Conference Proceedings / October 13-15, 1981 / Bahia Hotel, San Diego, CaliforniaA microstrip antenna feed developed for a paraboloidal reflector provides simultaneous right circular and left circular polarization and 20 dB sidelobe levels over moderate bandwidths. This arrangement obviates the need for the usual waveguide orthomode transducer and thus decreases the weight of the feed.
