The vehicle will compete in the University Rover Challenge hosted by the Mars Society. The software is responsible for asynchronously communicating to the remote system with a custom protocol over a wireless TCP/IP connection, handling user input from a team of human controllers, and processing data received from the rover and displaying it on the screen.
