The 19th Power Systems Computation Conference (PSCC 2016), Genova, Italy, 20-24 June 2016This paper compares three control strategies for energy storage devices. Detailed formulations and implementation procedures of PI, sliding mode, and H-infinity controllers are presented and discussed. The dynamic performance of each control technique is also studied and compared.
