Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is the most frequent chronic inflammatory rheumatism. This disease is characterized by an auto-immunity and a hyperplasic synovitis, both responsible for peripheral joints destruction. Macrophages contribute to inflammatory aspects of RA.
