In this thesis, our motivation is dedicated to studying the behaviors of different image representations and developing a method for super-resolution, cross-modal synthesis and segmentation of medical imaging. Super-Resolution aims to enhance the image resolution using single or multiple data acquisitions. In this work, we focus on single image super-resolution (SR) that estimates the high-resolution (HR) image from one corresponding low-resolution (LR) image. Increasing image resolution through SR is a key to more accurate understanding of the anatomy.
