This study focuses on the development of a compact photocatalytic water treatment system with a new light source UV-LED light guide (UV-LLG) using immobilized TiO2. Immobilized TiO2 photocatalysts have been developed to overcome the limitations of powdered photocatalysts. Photocatalysts of 10 cm 10 cm size were prepared by anodic oxidation. SEM and XRD methodologies were analyzed to have self-growing nanotubes and anatase crystal structures. Using an energy-saving, space-saving UV-LLG, the treatment of new emerging contaminants, bisphenol A (BPA), 17-ethinyl estradiol (EE2), and 17- estradiol (E2), respectively, was removed. The results of comparing removal efficiency with light sources showed UV-LLG to be the most efficient, and ene...
