The purpose of this article is to understand power relation and structure inherent in the culture of school sport teams in terms of a sociocultural perspective. This analysis of the power relation inherent in the culture of school sport clubs provide an insight to understanding the power structure and relations between coaches, student-athletes and their parents and then to seeking policy alternatives regarding unequal power relations among them.
