The purpose of this study was to search for ways to activate the domestic golf tourism of South Korea through the IPA analysis of core variables to attract golf tourists around the world. For that purpose, the study conducted a survey with 302 golf tourists that were aged 19 or older, lived in Seoul or Gyeonggi Province, and had a night of golf travel experience or more. An IPA analysis was conducted of core variables of golf tourism with the SPSS 18.0 program. Based on the results, the study condensed ways of vitalizing golf tourism into the four major plans as follows: first, the policies should change on the tax system for golf courses; second, the golf course business should go through changes according to the trends of golf consumption...
