[Abstract]: The ongoing growth of the human population and human activities have caused a rapid loss of biodiversity. Species play an important role in the ecosystem functioning. Thus, in order to conserve them, detailed insight into their biology is crucial. The Harvest mouse (Micromys minutus) is an understudied species whose populations across the UK have undergone an apparent decline of the 71 % over the past 18 years.
