[Abstract] A survey of the presence of female Galician architects in Spanish architectural journals reveals the limited visibility and scant professional and cultural recognition of these women’s work. The lack of female role models in Galician architecture and the scarcity of references to their work by other authors highlight the existence of gender prejudices within the profession, which have only been reinforced by the low representation of women on the editorial boards of such publications.
