Der Peroxisome proliferator activator receptor delta (PPARδ) ist ein nukleärer Rezeptor aus der Superfamilie der Steroidhormonrezeptoren. Die molekularen Funktionen von PPARδ sind komplex und beinhalten sowohl die β-Oxidation von Fettsäuren, die Differenzierung humaner epithelialer Stammzellen als auch die Proliferation von humanen Keratinozyten.
