GesamtdissertationIn den vergangenen Jahrzehnten ist das Interesse der kognitiven Neurowissenschaft an der Zweisprachigkeit gewachsen. Fragen zum Einfluss des Alters bei Zweitspracherwerb (Age of Acquisition) und des Leistungsniveaus (Proficiency Level) auf die kortikale Struktur der Sprachverarbeitung standen dabei bisher im Vordergrund. In bildgebenden Studien wurde dabei eine eventuell unterschiedliche Auswirkung auf die einzelnen Sprachprozesse Grammatik und Semantik ausser Acht gelassen. In dieser Arbeit wurde die Auswirkung des Alters bei Zweitspracherwerb sowie des Leistungsniveaus auf die neuronale Verarbeitung von Grammatik- und Semantikaufgaben dargestellt.
