Im Rahmen der hier vorliegenden Arbeit wurden in Monozyten die antioxidativ wirkenden Proteine Rhodanese und Superoxiddismutase 1 (SOD1) in Monozyten von Patienten mit chronischer Niereninsuffizienz untersucht. Die mRNA-Expression wurde mit quantitativer Real-Time PCR, die Proteinexpression wurde mit Immunoblotting und quantitativem In-Cell Western Assay bestimmt. Die Produktion reaktiver Sauerstoff-radikale wurden mittels Fluoreszenz- Spektrophotometrie untersucht.
