The root rot produced by Phytophthora cinnamomi is the main disease affecting oaks in dehesa ecosystem, and is contributing to holm oaks and cork oaks population decline. Biofumigation is the incorporation of green crops like some Brasicas species (Mustards) to the soil and could be a new tool for an integrated root rot control.
