International audienceAn earthflow/mudflow of a few thousand cubic metres occurred at the toe of the Pont-Bourquin Landslide (PBL, Swiss Alps) in late August 2010. This event was preceded by a drop of about 6% in surface wave velocity (dV/V) determined from ambient vibration records. A seismic monitoring system made of three pairs of sensors was re-installed across the transportation and accumulation zones of the landslide in October 2011, allowing daily relative changes in seismic velocity to be measured for a period of 4.5 years.
