Pleasure to play: between the analogical and the digital – Children of Child Education :-)

The aim of the present work is to show the importance of playing to child‟s development, in the physical, intellectual, affective and social aspects. One way to learn rules, limits and socialize (HUIZINGA, 2000). The author emphasizes that the child‟s development happens with the stimuli they receive from the environment in which they live, and the toys and the jokes are allies in this phase (VIGOTSKY, 2001). The author also shows that the school curriculum must value the playing, because it is through the jokes that the children learn, develop their abilities, and feel happy (MOYLE, 2006). It is also stressed that the generation Homo Zapiens also learns through playing (VEEN; VRAKKING, 2009). The research was done with 5 and 6 year old children, who attend Pre-School B in São Francisco de Assis Fundamental Teaching School, a private school, with the intention of knowing which degree of interest they have in playing with the analogical and the digital toy. The methodological procedures of the research were based on Gil (2010); it was decided to use experimentation. Data collect happened through observation in the classroom, talks with the children and their parents, photographic registers and filming, and the sending of a questionnaire to the parents of the observed students, through Google Docsforms, to check which are the toys and the jokes the children choose to play in environments other than the school one, and the parents‟ relation with the digital technologies. These resources led to data production and to the reviews, considering that the children present the same intensity of pleasure whether playing with analogical or digital toy. As a product, a video was made, to serve as a guide to parents and teachers, about the importance of playing for children within this age range, stressing the need of interaction with the two kinds of toys: the analogical and the digital.O objetivo do presente trabalho é apresentar a importância do brincar para o desenvolvimento infantil, nos aspectos físico, intelectual, afetivo e social. Uma forma de aprender regras, limites e socializar-se (HUIZINGA, 2000). O autor enfatiza que o desenvolvimento da criança se dá com os estímulos que recebem do ambiente em que vivem e os brinquedos e as brincadeiras são aliados nessa fase (VIGOTSKY, 2001). O autor evidencia que o currículo escolar deve valorizar o brincar, porque através das brincadeiras as crianças aprendem e desenvolvem suas habilidades, se sentem felizes (MOYLE, 2006). Destaca que a geração Homo Zappiens também aprende por meio do brincar (VEEN; VRAKKING, 2009). A investigação foi realizada com crianças de 5 e 6 anos que frequentam o Pré B da Escola de Ensino Fundamental São Francisco de Assis, uma escola da rede particular de ensino, com a intenção de saber qual o grau de interesse que elas têm em brincar com o brinquedo analógico e o digital. Os procedimentos metodológicos da pesquisa foram ancorados em Gil (2010); optou-se por experimentação. A coleta de materiais aconteceu através de observações em sala de aula, conversas com as crianças e seus pais, registros fotográficos e filmagens e o envio de um questionário aos familiares e/ou cuidadores dos alunos investigados, através do Google Docsforms, para averiguar quais são as brincadeiras e os brinquedos que as crianças escolhem para brincar em outros ambientes que não o da escola e a relação dos familiares e/ou cuidadores com as tecnologias digitais. Esses recursos conduziram à produção de dados e às análises, considerando-se que as crianças apresentam a mesma intensidade de prazer ao brincar com brinquedo analógico e com o digital. Como produto, foi elaborado um vídeo, para servir como guia aos familiares e/ou cuidadores e professores, sobre a importância do brincar para as crianças dessa faixa etária, ressaltando a necessidade da interação com os dois tipos de brinquedos: o analógico e o digital
