Bu çalışmada, metal tozu üretim yöntemlerinden atomizasyon yöntemleri araştırılmış, gaz ve su atomize yöntemleri incelenmiştir. Gaz atomizasyon yöntemi metal tozu üretiminde kullanılan tekniklerden biridir. Bu yöntemle metal tozu üretiminde nozul, gaz jetinin akışını kontrol ederek, istenilen özelliklerde tozun üretilmesini sağlar. Nozullar, serbest düşmeli ve yakından eşlemeli olmak üzere iki tip olarak tasarlanmaktadır. Gaz atomizasyon yöntemi ile metal tozu üretiminde nozul tipi toz boyutu ve dağılımını ve tozların şeklini birinci derecede etkilediği için son derece önemlidir.
