Objectives: This study was conducted to determine the cultural differences that the midwifery and nursing students experienced during thenursing and the way these differences affect the care in relation to some variables. Methods: The study, which is descriptive, conducted atHealth College, Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University in 2005 and 2006 spring academic term. The research was participated by 173 voluntarymidwifery and nursing students (77%). The data were collected through a question form based on the permission obtained from theinstitution in charge and on the verbal approval from the students.
