Bu çalışmada kimyasal çöktürme yöntemi ile üretilen hidroksiapatit ile 4-klorofenolün sulu ortamdan uzaklaştırılması incelenmiştir. Hidroksiapatit Ca/P mol oranı 1,67 olacak şekilde üretilmiştir. Üretilen tozlar 1100 °C’ de kalsine edilmiştir. Kalsine edilen tozlara XRD, SEM-EDX, DTA-TGA ve FT-IR karakterizasyon teknikleri uygulanmıştır. Kalsine edilen hidroksiapatit, sulu ortamda bulunan 4- klorofenollerin uzaklaştırılması amacıyla kullanılmıştır. 4-klorofenolün adsorblanmasında denge zamanın belirlenmesi, adsorbsiyon hızına başlangıç derişiminin etkisi, pH etkisi, rejenerasyon imkanı incelenmiştir.
