The aim of tissue engineering in case of periodontal tissue is to regenerate cementum, periodontal ligament and alveolar bone. Histological and functional knowledge about periodontium is a must since the aim is to regenerate the similar tissue. Different methods and materials such as different surgical procedures, grafts, growth factors, cells and scaffolds are being used and studied to achieve the desired result. Although small periodontal defect can be possible to get the full regeneration, but in case of challenging defects a predictable and promising result cannot be possible.egységes, osztatlanfogorvosangolg
