Hästfrukter : En studie av konvergensen mellan traditionella och sociala medier

This study looks to understand the convergence between social and traditional media by exemplifying with equestrian sport generally and especially by looking at Jerringpriset. Jerringpriset was won by a Swedish show jumper, which caused discussions in social and traditional media. Because people live inside filter bubbles they have a perceived truth about their own world and because they don’t see any opposition inside their own social or traditional media the standards about equestrian sport lives on. When equestrian sport got the Jerringpris this bubble burst and questioned the standards and this is the result of the convergence between social and traditional media.
