Small satellites typically favour the use of commercial and automotive-grade electronic components over much more expensive space-grade versions. However the radiation tolerance of the former can't be guaranteed, and component-specific radiation testing needs to be performed. This master's thesis presents a total ionising dose test campaign conducted on a selection of standard and automotive commercial components. Combined biasing and measurement circuits for each component type were designed, and the manufactured boards were irradiated with gamma-rays.
