Sheep ecthyma : observation of papillomatous and hyperkeratosic enzootie disease

Dans cette étude, une enzootie de l’ecthyma du mouton est décrite. Elle présente une forme clinique papillomateuse hyperkératosique chez des agneaux. Cette enzootie concerna 57 % de ceux-ci et plus significati vement les femelles que les mâles. Elle apparut certainement après marquage des agneaux à l’oreille droite. La guérison fut spontanée après une évolution totale de 2 mois. L’étiopathologie est discutée.In this study, an outbreak of contagious pustular dermatitis (ORF) of sheep is described, with a clinical papillomatous form in a flock of lambs. This outbreak affected 57 % of those and more significantly the females than the males. It certainly appeared after identification-stamping of every lamb at the right ear. The recovery was spontaneous after a total evolution of two months. The aetio-pathogenicity is discussed
