Lead based electroceramics are difficult to prepare reproducibly due to lead oxide losses during fabrication. Here we report fabrication of lead magnesium niobate (PMN) using Partial Oxalate method, which gives nearly single phase perovskite PMN at a relatively low temperature of 900 degrees C. This simple and cost effective route has been found to be reproducible. Phase analysis and density results are included. Dielectric properties have been measured at different frequencies over a range of temperature. The maximum dielectric constant of 12,000 (1 KHz) has been observed at Curie temperature of -15 degrees C
