The integration of wind turbines into urban environments is a challenging task due to the reduced wind speed and high turbulence levels caused by the surface resistance, as well as limited spacing. If a specific building arrangement is explored, an improve ment in wind speed can be obtained. This would be especially beneficial for tall build ings where a wind turbine can be placed on the roof, side, or through a duct. However, the main problem associated with the integration of wind turbines is the acoustic an noyance. Therefore, the focus of this thesis is twofold.
