Ultrasound technology offering a safer and inexpensive method compared to X-ray densitometry to evaluate bone quality in order to predict fracture cause by osteoporosis disease. Yet, dual X-ray absorptiometry still become choice due to its accuracy and reliability to predict fracture risk compared to quantitative ultrasound (QUS). Moreover, QUS method also isn't fully exploiting interactions between ultrasound wave and bone structure orientation.
