Recent developments have led the UK government to deem clinical supervision ‘essential’ to a safe and effective national health service. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) supervision has been increasingly operationalized and manualized, but there are few psychometrically sound observational instruments with which to measure CBT supervision.
