KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL PADA REMAJA PENGGEMAR GAME ONLINE

Communication is very important for human growth, especially in adolescence because it must have the skills to communicate both verbally and non-verbally, adolescents have a high curiosity in the development of technology, one of which online games are in great demand by teenagers today so that an increasingly individualistic attitude is supported with the nature of the internet as interactive communication that does not require physical meeting communication. This study aims to find out the picture of interpersonal communication in adolescent fans of online games. The subjects of this study were 272 teenagers. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using incidental sampling techniques in nonprobability sampling with data collection methods with interpersonal communication inventory (ICI) scale. The results of this study indicate that adolescent interpersonal communication online game fans have more interpersonal communication at a moderate level, which means that interpersonal communication is a fan of ordinary online games, by playing online games teenagers can still communicate interpersonally
